Polly Draper, Maggie Siff, et al. Set for Jane Anderson’s The Escort at Geffen Playhouse

Polly Draper and Maggie Siff will star in Emmy Award winning playwright Jane Anderson’s world premiere of The Escort, at the Geffen Playhouse, April 6-May 8. Lisa Peterson will direct.

The play follows the relationship between Charlotte (Siff), a high-class call girl and Rhona (Draper), her upper West side female gynecologist. The cast will also include James Eckhouse and Gabriel Sunday.

The creative team will include Richard Hoover (set), Laura Bauer (costumes), Rand Ryan (lighting), and Paul James Prendergast (sound).

Draper’s Broadway credits include Closer, Brooklyn Boy, and Crazy He Calls Me. She received an Emmy nomination for her performance in thirtysomething, and recent film and television credits include a role on the Showtime series The Big C, and a role in the upcoming feature film My Idiot Brother.

Siff stars as Tara Knowles on the FX series Sons of Anarchy, and received a SAG Award nomination for her role as Rachel Katz on Mad Men. Her theater credits include A Lie of the Mind, The Ruby Sunrise, Frank’s Home, Dollhouse, Aunt Dan and Lemon, and Oleanna.
