Daniel Radcliffe to Star in The Amateur Photographer Movie

Daniel Radcliffe will star in the movie The Amateur Photographer, according to a report in Variety. Christopher Monger has written the screenplay and will direct the film, which is based on his novel of the same name.

The project, set in 1970, follows a young man who discovers his artistic calling after being called upon by the citizens of a small New England mill town to serve as photographer of their most intimate moments.

Radcliffe will soon begin performances in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway. He also starred in Equus on Broadway and in the West End. The actor is best known for his portrayal of the title character in the Harry Potter film series.
