Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Barbra Streisand, Usher, et al. to Perform on Grammy Awards Broadcast

Barbra Streisand has joined the lineup of artists who will be performing at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, according to an Associated Press report. The ceremony will be held on February 13 in Los Angeles and aired live on CBS.

In addition, it has been announced that Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Yolanda Adams, and Florence Welch will perform n a special tribute to Aretha Franklin.


>,Grammy night performers are also scheduled to include Bob Dylan, Mumford & Sons, Dr. Dre, Mick Jagger, Gwyneth Paltrow, Usher, Justin Bieber, Jaden Smith, Arcade Fire, Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry , B.o.B, Cee Lo Green, Miranda Lambert, Bruno Mars, Janelle Monáe, Rihanna, Drake, The Jim Henson Company Puppets, and Muse.

Presenters at the ceremony will include Marc Anthony, Jamie Foxx, John Mayer, Pauley Perrette, Donnie Wahlberg, Miley Cyrus, Neil Patrick Harris, Paramore, John Legend and Seth Rogen.


Streisand has been nominated in the best traditional pop vocal album category for Love Is The Answer. Before performing live on the broadcast, she will be introduced by her A Star Is Born co-star, Kris Kristofferson.

In related news, om Friday, February 11, as part of the Grammy Awards week celebration, Streisand will be honored as the 2011 MusiCares Person of the Year. Tony Bennett, Jeff Beck, LeAnn Rimes, Seal, BeBe Winans, Stevie Wonder, Diana Krull, Barry Manilow and the cast of Glee are among the performers who will be offering their interpretations of Streisand’s classic recordings.
