Jake Ehrenreich’s A Jew Grows in Brooklyn is set to make its Los Angeles premiere at American Jewish University, February 16-March 6.

The solo show chronicles the life of the show’s author and star, an American-born child of Holocaust survivors. From the streets of Brooklyn and struggle with his family’s past, to the laughter and rebirth of Catskills summers, this multi-media musical retells his story.

Ehrenreich’s show had its Off-Broadway premiere in 2006, and has since played numerous other locales. The success of the stage play has led to a book published by Health Communications Inc.: A JEW GROWS IN BROOKLYN, The Curious Reflections of a First Generation American.
