Kate Burton, Kate Walsh to Return to Grey’s Anatomy

Stage veterans Kate Burton and Kate Walsh will return to ABC’s Grey Anatomy in February, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actresses will once again play Ellis Grey and Addison Montgomery in the episode, which will feature an alternate reality in which Ellis is still alive and Addison hadn’t broken up with Derek Shepherd (played by Patrick Dempsey).

Grey’s Anatomy also stars Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, James Pickens, Jr, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson, Eric Dane, Sara Ramirez, and Jessica Capshaw.
