Kelly Overton to Join Cast of True Blood

Stage veteran Kelly Overton will join the cast of HBO’s True Blood, according to Deadline.com.

Overton will play a werewolf named Rikki, for at least six episodes with possibly more next season. Also joining the cast in a recurring role will be Louis Herthum, who is also playing a werewolf.

Overton made her Broadway debut in The Graduate, starting as the assistant desk clerk before taking over the role of Elaine Robinson. Additional stage credits include Rosmersholm and The Comedy of Errors. Film and television work includes All My Children and The Ring Two.
