Tony-nominated set designer David Rockwell will design the sets for the 2010 Academy Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This will be his second Oscar assignment, after winning acclaim for this year’s Oscars. His firm also designed the Kodak Theatre, in which the awards take place. The 2010 ceremony will be broadcast live by ABC on March 7.

Rockwell received Tony and Drama Desk nominations for his work on Hairspray, and additional Drama Desk nominations for his sets for All Shook Up, Legally Blonde, and The Rocky Horror Show.
