The actress will play the mother of Ben (Adam Scott), with Jonathan Banks playing the role of Ben’s father.

Headly was most recently seen on stage in the Geffen Playhouse production of Beth Henley's new play The Jacksonian, earlier this year. Additional stage credits include Arms and the Man, Extremities, and Curse of the Starving Class. Among her film credits are Dick Tracy and Mr. Holland's Opus.

Parks and Recreation stars Amy Poehler, Rob Lowe, Rashida Jones, and Aziz Anzari.
