Ben Stiller to Receive American Cinematheque Award

Broadway veteran Ben Stiller will receive The American Cinematheque’s 26th American Cinematheque Award on November 15 at a gala dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.


Stiller played the role of Artie Shaughnessy in the 2011 Broadway revival of John Guare’s The House of Blue Leaves, as well as Ronnie Shaughnessy in the play’s 1986 Lincoln Center revival.


He is best known for his film and television work, which includes Tower Heist, A Night at the Museum, Meet the Parents, and The Ben Stiller Show, for which he won an Emmy Award.
