Frenchie Davis Set for Dumbbells Movie

Stage veteran and American Idol and The Voice alum Frenchie Davis will appear in Dumbbells, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Chris Livingston is directing the project, which has been written by Brian Drolet.
The movie is a buddy comedy that will star Drolet and Mircea Monroe. The film is also slated to feature appearances by stars such as Tom Arnold, Nancy Olsen, Andy Milonakis, Jay Mohr, Carl Reiner, and Jaleel White.
Davis’ stage credits include Rent on Broadway, the West coast tour of Dreamgirls, and the national tour of Ain’t Misbehavin’, with fellow Idol alum, Ruben Studdard.
