A Conversation with Edith Head Adds Pet Care Benefit, Costume Designers Guild Gala

The upcoming production of A Conversation with Edith Head, at the El Portal Forum Theatre, has added a special performance benefitting the MPTF's Pet Care Program on September 30 at 8pm, and a Costume Designers Guild Gala on October 1 at 8pm.

Presented by Off the Aisle Productions in association with Invisible Theatre, the solo play stars Susan Claassen, and is written by Paddy Calistro and Claassen. It will begin previews September 23, with an official opening on October 1.

The bio-drama is about one of the most famous Hollywood costume designers and image-makers, Edith Head. In this show, Edith (played by Claassen) shares her humorous and fascinating stories of working with Hollywood stars, directors, and producers from Mae West to Grace Kelly to Steve Martin, and shows actual wardrobe pieces, designs, and inspirations for some of America's most famous movies.
