The Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles has announced its selections for its 2010 season.

The theater will begin the new year with a revival of David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow (February 21-March 21), directed by Neil Pepe, who staged the show’s recent Broadway revival. This production will be followed by Moises Kaufman’s staging of Rajiv Joseph’s Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo (April 26-May 30), which played earlier this year at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.

Martin McDonagh’s The Lieutenant of Inishmore, directed by Wilson Milam — who helmed the show’s Broadway production — will be seen June 30-August 8, to be followed by Gordon Edelstein’s revival of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie (September 12-October 17), starring Judith Ivey, which originated at New Haven’s Long Wharf Theatre and will come to the Taper following its run at New York’s Roundabout Theatre.

The final entry in the Taper’s 2010 season will be a yet-to-be announced world premiere musical, which press materials describe as being by “one of America’s greatest living singer/songwriters.”
