Stage veterans Kristen Bell, Don Cheadle, Andrew Garfield, Neil Patrick Harris, Anne Hathaway, Scarlett Johansson, Lea Michele, and Ian Somerhalder are among the nominees for DoSomething.org and VH1's Do Something Awards, which honor people for doing good (and influencing others to do so as well).

The awards show will tape Sunday, August 19 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and air Tuesday, August 21 at 9pm on VH1. It will be co-hosted by Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, and Lamorne Morris, who co-star on FOX's New Girl.

Nominee categories include Athlete, City, Comedian, Couple, Film, Movie Star (both Male and Female), Music Artist, Reality TV Show, TV Show, TV Star (both Male and Female), Style, Twitter, and Facebook.

Among the many other nominees are Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Ellen DeGeneres, Jay-Z, Nicole Richie, Blake Shelton, Emma Stone, Wanda Sykes, Channing Tatum, Mark Wahlberg, and Betty White.
