Katselas Theatre Company to Present World Premiere of Allen Barton’s Engagement

The Katselas Theatre Company will present the world premiere of Engagement, written and directed by Allen Barton, July 16-August 22 at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.

The play covers two intense years in the off-center romantic entanglement of Mark, a sharp-witted political conservative, and Nicole, an apolitical, tolerant, and artistic woman.

The production stars Vanessa Celso, David Crane, Jim Dowd, Christopher Hoffman, Audrey Moore, Jeremy Radin, Ellie Schwartz, Retta Sirleaf, Brynn Thayer, and Everette Wallin.

The creative team includes Jeff McLaughlin (sets and lighting) and Bob Blackburn (sound).
