Two-time Emmy Award winner Sally Struthers will direct 3D Theatricals’ production of Always Patsy Cline, at the Historic Plummer Auditorium, July 15-30.
She will also be portraying Louise Seger, opposite Christa Jackson as Patsy Cline.

Featuring a book by Ted Swindley, the show is based on the true story of Patsy Cline’s real life friendship with housewife Louise Seger. In the piece, Seger supplies much of the narrative as Cline comes in and out of the story singing many of the songs that made her famous, such as “Anytime,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “She’s Got you,” “Sweet Dreams,” and “Crazy. ”

The production will include musical direction by Daniel Thomas, costume design by Sharell Martin, wig design by Kat Senior, sound design by Julie Ferrin, and lighting design by Jared Sayeg.

Struthers won her Emmys for her role as Gloria on All in the Family. Her many stage credits include Nunsense, The Odd Couple, Grease, Anything Goes, The Full Monty, and Fiddler on the Roof. As previously reported, she will play Miss Hannigan in Cabrillo Music Theatre’s production of Annie, in October.
