Jo D. Jonz’ Force 12 to Play Electric Lodge

Media and entertainment group Jonz Unltd. is set to present Force 12 at Electric Lodge in Venice, CA., July 15-August 20.

Written and directed by Jo D. Jonz and based on actual events in the life of his mentor and co-writer Ron Allen, Force 12 takes audiences into the mind of a schizophrenic poet and exposes his daily struggle to balance reality against haunting hallucinations of an alternate universe. Throughout the play, the poet encounters deities, demons, and other characters that drive an internal battle between his analytical reasoning and creative nature. Striving to elevate awareness and sensitivity to what it is to deal with addiction and mental illness, the play uses art as an alternative healing and educational tool.
