New CW Series to Feature Gale Harold, Mario Lopez, Scott Porter

CW has announced its new 2011-2012 slate of television series, many of which will feature prominent stage veterans.

Scott Porter will appear in Hart of Dixie, which will focus on Zoe Hart, a young doctor (Rachel Bilson) from New York City, who inherits a medical practice in the South.

Gale Harold will appear in The Secret Circle, about a teenager (to be played by Britt Robertson) who moves to a new town and discovers that she is part of a secret coven of witches.

In addition, Mario Lopez will host a new reality series, H8R, which will bring celebrities face-to-face with the people who love to hate them.

The network’s fourth new show will be Ringer, about a woman on the run, who assumes her twin sister’s identity, only to discover that her sister’s life is just as complicated and dangerous as the one she’s trying to escape.
