Alfred Molina to Appear at Shakespeare by the Sea Benefit

Stage and film star Alfred Molina will be on hand to introduce a special screening of Kenneth Branagh’s film version of William Shakespeare’s As You Like It as part of Shakespeare by the Sea’s annual benefit, to take place on Wednesday, July 8 at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro, California.

Molina co-stars in the film, which was made for HBO, along with Kevin Kline, Bryce Dallas Howard, David Oyelowo, and Romola Garai.

The company’s 2009 summer season, to run June 11-August 8, will consist of free performances of As You Like It and Love’s Labour’s Lost. In addition to playing Point Fermin Park in San Pedro, the company will present the production in numerous California cities including Malibu, South Pasadena, Manhattan Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, and Glendale.
