VIDEO FLASH: Alec Baldwin, Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones in Rock of Ages Movie Trailer

New Line Cinema has released an official trailer for its forthcoming film version of the Broadway musical Rock of Ages. Adam Shankman has directed the movie.

The musical, which focuses on a rock club in Los Angeles, has a score that includes the hit songs of iconic rockers Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many more. The musical’s book is written by Chris D’Arenzio, who has also penned the screenplay with Michael Arndt and Alan Loeb.

The cast features Malin Akerman, Alec Baldwin, Mary J, Blige, Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Bryan Cranston, Tom Cruise, Paul Giamatti, Julianne Hough, and Tony Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones.
