Toy Theatre Festival to Play Walt Disney Concert Hall in June

The Music Center of Los Angeles County will present a free two-day Toy Theatre Festival on June 14 and 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Toy Theatre is a type of puppetry that enacts plays using two-dimensional rod puppets in miniature theatres.

Participating artists will include Alejandro Benítez, Chinese Theatre Works, Great Small Works, Alison Heimstead, Laura Heit, Lynn Jeffries, Alain Lecucq’s Compagnie Papiertheatre, New Model Theatre, Beth Peterson, Robert Poulter, Redmoon Theater, Dov Weinstein’s Tiny Ninja Theatre, and Paul Zaloom.
