Steven Pasquale, Annie Potts, Christina Ricci to Star in New Pilots

Theater veterans Steven Pasquale, Annie Potts, and Christina Ricci have all been signed to upcoming pilots, according to Deadline.com.

Pasquale will star in USA Network’s hour-long pilot Over/Under in which he will play a day trader with a massive gambling problem who starts a high-end bookie business after he gets fired.

Potts, who starred on Broadway in God of Carnage, will co-star in the ABC dramedy pilot Good Christian Bitches, co-created by playwright Robert Harling and Darren Star. She will play the overbearing mother of the series’ lead character Amanda (to be played by Leslie Bibb), a recently divorced mother of two who moves back to the affluent Dallas neighborhood.

Ricci, who debuted this season on Broadway in Time Stands Still, will play the lead in ABC’s Pan Am, which is set in the 1960s and concerns the employees of the now-defunct airline. She will play Maggie, a fiery stewardess who is also an earthy bohemian living in Greenwich Village.
