The thriller features a script by Joe and Tony Gayton, and follows an ex-con who goes about avenging his brother's murder. Gugino will play the detective in charge of the investigation.

Gugino starred on Broadway last season in Desire Under the Elms, and her other theater credits include the Broadway revival of After the Fall and the Off-Broadway production of Suddenly Last Summer. Her film credits include Watchmen, Race to Witch Mountain, and the forthcoming Sucker Punch.
