During the episode, two of the soap's characters, Pam (Alley Mills) and Nick (Jack Wagner), will appear on Let's Make a Deal.

Brady played the role of Billy Flynn in the Broadway revival of Chicago, appeared in the Hollywood Bowl's production of Rent, and has performed frequently in Las Vegas, as well as at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall.

He won the Emmy Award for his own talk show, The Wayne Brady Show, and was nominated three times for his work on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Brady also hosted the 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards.
