Cassie Beck, Katrina Lenk, et al, Set for South Coast Rep’s Elemeno Pea

Full cast and creative team has been announced for South Coast Reperory’s production of Molly Smith Metzler’s new play Elemeno Pea, to run January 27-February 26. Marc Masterson will direct the production.

The show focuses on two sisters, Devon and Simone, whose weekend plans are interrupted by the surprise arrival of Simone’s wealthy employer who has just had a major fight with her husband.

The cast includes Cassie Beck (Devon), Jamison Jones (Ethan), Katrina Lenk (Michaela), Melanie Lora (Simone), and Jonathan Nichols (Jos-B).

The creative team includes Ralph Funicello (set design), David Kay Mickelsen (costume design), Lap Chi Chu (lighting design), and Cricket S. Myers (sound design).

Metzler is currently represented on stage by Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of Close Up Space, starring David Hyde Pierce and Rosie Perez. She is also the author of the plays Carve and Training Wisteria
