John Barrowman to Star in Glasgow’s Aladdin Christmas Panto in 2010
John Barrowman will star in the U.K.’s largest Christmas panto, Aladdin, at the 3,000-seat Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow, to run December 10, 2010 – January 9, 2011, according to a report on The Stage website. Additional casting and the creative team will be announced at a later date.
Barrowman recently concluded a run in the West End revival of La Cage Aux Folles and is beginning performances in Robin Hood: The Pantomime Adventure (December 12 – January 24) at the New Theatre. Among his other stage credits are Company, Anything Goes, and A Few Good Men. He is well known in the UK for his TV appearances in Torchwood, Doctor Who, How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything.
