Jonathan Cake, Lisa Dillon, Tom Hollander, et al. Set for the Old Vic’s A Flea in Her Ear

The Old Vic has announced complete casting for Georges Feydeau’s A Flea in Her Ear, translated by John Mortimer, to run December 4 – March 5. Richard Eyre will direct the production.

The classic farce centers on a woman who suspects her husband of infidelity. The company will feature the previously reported Lisa Dillon (Raymonde Chandebise) and Tom Hollander (Victor Emmanuel Chandebise/Poche), along with Jonathan Cake (Romain Tournel), Oliver Cotton (Doctor Finache), Fiona Glascott (Lucienne Homenides de Histangua), John Marquez (Carlos Homenides de Histangua), Tim McMullan (Etienne Plucheux), Di Botcher (Olympe), Freddie Fox (Camille Chandebise), Lloyd Hutchinson (Augustin Feraillon), William Maxwell (Baptistin), Rebecca Night (Eugénie), Maggie Service (Antoinette Plucheux), and Walter Van Dyk (Herr Schwarz).

The production will be designed by Rob Howell, with costumes by Sue Blane, lighting by Mark Henderson, and sound by Gregory Clarke.
