Steven Berkoff will bring One Man, a double bill of the one-man plays Dog and Tell Tale Heart, to the Riverside Studios, April 12-23.

Dog focuses on a day in the life of a football hooligan and his pit bull terrier, Roy. Throughout the piece, the action swaps between the skinhead and the loyal pet. Tell Tale Heart, adapted by Berkoff from a story by Edgar Allan Poe, centers on a man explaining how he systematically went about killing and dismembering a neighbor.

Berkoff’s other solo shows include Shakespeare’s Villains and Actor. His other theater credits include his adaptation of On the Waterfront, which played the West End in 2009, and an adaptation of The Metamophosis, seen on Broadway with Mikhail Baryshnikov. He might be best known for his portrayal of villains in such movies as Octopussy, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Beverly Hills Cop.
