Director Maria Friedman's award-winning West End revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's Merrily We Roll Along will be screened in movie theaters across the United States from December 23-February 23, 2014. The worldwide cinema event is presented by SpectiCast, CinemaLive, and Digital Theatre. Other participating countries include Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Russia, and Brazil.

Merrily We Roll Along follows the changing relationships among a group of three close friends, following them through three decades of milestones in reverse chronological order. Friedman's acclaimed production recently won the Ned Sheerin Award for Best Musical at the 59th Evening Standard Theatre Awards, and earned the 2012 Critics' Circle Award for Best Musical. The cast is led by Mark Umbers, Damian Humbley, and Tony nominee Jenna Russell.
