Maggie Smith, Billy Connolly, and The Rolling Stones Set for 56th London Film Festival

The London Film Festival has announced the lineup for its 56th festival, which will take place October 10-21.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, British actors Maggie Smith, Billy Connolly, and Michael Gambon are expected to be present at the gala for Dustin Hoffman‘s directorial debut Quartet. Additionally, The Rolling Stones are expected to attend the world premiere gala screening of Crossfire Hurricane, a Brett Morgen-directed documentary focusing on the group.

Other films that will be screened at the gala, which plans fiction and documentary features, include Ben Lewin’s The Sessions, starring John Hawkes, Helen Hunt, and William H. Macy; Michael Winterbottom’s Everyday; Sally Potter’s Ginger and Rosa; Deepa Mehta’s Midnight’s Children; Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths; Michel Franco’s After Lucia; Rama Burshtein’s Fill The Void: Daniele Cipri’s It Was The Son; Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie; and Mike Newell’s Great Expectations.
