Sadie Shimmin, Pat Starr Set for UK Premiere of ‘night, Mother

Sadie Shimmin and Pat Starr will star in the UK premiere of Marsha Norman’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, ‘night, Mother, according to a report on WhatsOnStage.com. Paul Stacey will direct the production at the Old Red Lion in Islington, August 30-September 24.

The two-character play tells the story of Jessie Cates, who wants to put everything in order before she shoots herself in the head, and her mother Thelma, who wants desperately to prevent her daughter’s impending suicide.

Kat Heath will design the production, with lighting by Eoin Furbank.
