John Logan, Lynn Nottage, Christopher Shinn, et al. to Contribute to Site-Specific 9/11 Piece Decade

The writers and performers who will be part of Headlong Theatre’s Decade, to run September 1 – October 15 at St. Katharine Docks in London, have been announced, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. As previously reported, Rupert Goold will direct the project, which will have choreography by Scott Ambler.

The site-specific piece will be an exploration of the legacy of 9/11 a decade after the terrorist attacks. The writers who will be contributing to the work include Samuel Adamson, Mike Bartlett, Alecky Blythe, John Logan, Abit Morgan, Lynn Nottage, and Simon Schama.

The company will feature Tobias Menzies, Charlotte Randle, Cat Simmons, Lia Williams, Jonathan Bonnici, Leila Crerar, Kevin Harvey, Tom Hodgkins, Samuel James, Arinze Kene, Amy Lennox and Claire Prempeh.

The creative team will include production designer Miriam Buether and Adam Cork, who will provide the sound score.
