Unicorn Theatre will present Something Very Far Away, the collaborative and puppetry show of writer/director Mark Arends and designer/animator Matthew Robins, from June 1-24. Press night is set for June 6.

The piece centers on Kepler, an ordinary man who loves two things in life; the cosmos and his wife Tomasina. When Tomasina is killed in a tragic circus accident, he looks to the stars for answers. Grieving, he builds a rocket ship to travel through space and keep the thing most precious to him alive.

The show is animated in front of the audience as the story is told through projection, puppetry and music, with no words at all.

The company will include David Emmings, Avye Leventis, Julia Slienger and Ben Whybrow. Lighting is by Declan Randall.
