Simon Russell Beale, Kerry Ellis, Jeremy Sams Set for These Are a Few of My Favourite Songs

Simon Russell Beale, Kerry Ellis, and Jeremy Sams are among the participants in the upcoming second series of These Are a Few of My Favourite Songs at Soho Downstairs at the Soho Theatre.

Hosted by critic and journalist Mark Shenton, These Are a Few of My Favourite Songs is a series of live interviews with major theatrical figures about the songs which inspire their work.

The series includes Beale (Sunday, May 20 at 6pm), Sams (Sunday, May 27 at 6pm), Howard Goodall (Sunday, June 17 at 6pm), and Ellis (Sunday, July 8 at 6pm). The evenings will also include musical performances by Caroline Sheen (May 20 and 27) and Emma Williams (June 17). Ben Stock and Craig Adams serve as musical directors.

These Are a Few of My Favourite Songs is staged to benefit The Theatrical Guild charity, which looks after backstage and front-of-house personnel in need of assistance.
