Australian Jersey Boys to Conclude Melbourne Run July 25 and Reopen in Sydney in September

The Australian production of Jersey Boys, will conclude its engagement at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne on July 25, having played 453 performances. The multi-award-winning show will then be seen at the Theatre Royal in Sydney, beginning performances on September 3 in anticipation of an official opening on September 18.

The musical — written by Academy Award winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe — tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi, and includes dozens of their popular hits including “Walk Like a Man,” “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What a Night,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”

The Australian company features Bobby Fox (Valli), Scott Johnson (DeVito), Glaston Toft (Massi), and Stephen Mahy (Gaudio).
