Jenna Russell, David Suchet, Hannah Waddingham, Zoe Wanamaker, et al. Featured in Digital Theatre’s Upcoming Online Releases

Digital Theatre has announced the next trio of taped stage productions that will be available for online streaming and download.

On February 14, the site will release video of Michael Boyd’s staging of Shakespeare’s bucolic romantic comedy, As You Like It. This Royal Shakespeare Company production features Charles Aitken (Oliver), David Carr (Charles the Wrestler), Dyfan Dwyfor (William), Christine Entwisle (Phoebe), Geoffrey Freshwater (Adam/Corin), Mariah Gale (Celia), James Howard (First Lord), Ansu Kabia (Le Beau), Richard Katz (Touchstone), Debbie Korley (Hisperia), Forbes Masson (Jaques), Sandy Neilson (Duke Frederick), Jonjo O’Neill (Orlando), Dharmesh Patel (Lord Amiens), Peter Peverley (Jacques Du Boys/Dennis), Sophie Russell (Audrey), Clarence Smith (Duke Ferdinand), Katy Stephens (Rosalind), James Traherne (Sir Oliver Martext), and James Tucker (Silvius).

Digital Theatre has also announced that it will release Timothy Sheader and Liam Steel’s staging of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into the Woods in the near future. The production, seen at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre last summer, has a cast that includes Eddie Manning (The Narrator), Helen Dallimore (Cinderella), Ben Stott (Jack), Mark Hadfield (Baker), Jenna Russell (Baker’s Wife), Gaye Brown (Cinderella’s Stepmother), Amy Ellen Richardson (Florinda), Amy Griffiths (Lucinda), Marilyn Cutts (Jack’s Mother), Beverly Rudd (Little Red Ridinghood), Hannah Waddingham (Witch), Gemma Wardle (Cinderella’s Mother), Billy Boyle (Mysterious Man), Michael Xavier (Wolf and Cinderella’s Prince), Valda Aviks (Grandmother), Alice Fearn (Rapunzel), Simon Thomas (Rapunzel’s Prince), Mark Goldthorp (Steward), Sophie Caton (Snow White/Harp), Marc Antolin (Woodsman), with Judi Dench as the voice of the Giant.

The third production set for release is the recent West End revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons, which stars David Suchet as Joe Keller and Zoe Wanamaker as Kate Keller, and also features Stephen Campbell Moore (Chris), Olivia Darnley (Lydia Lubey), Steven Elder (Dr Jim Bayliss), Claire Hackett (Sue Bayliss), Daniel Lapaine (George Deever), Jemima Rooper (Ann Deever), Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Frank Lubey), and Ted Allpress (Bert).
