Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular celebrates 1,500 performances on Friday, October 30. Housed in a specially created theatre at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, the Las Vegas production has been staged by its original director, Harold Prince, and features choreography by Gillian Lynne.

Phantom opened in Las Vegas on June 24, 2006. Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra by Gaston Leroux, the show features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart (with additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe), and book by Richard Stilgoe and Webber. It has production design by the late Maria Björnson, lighting by Andrew Bridge, and sound by Martin Levan. Orchestrations are by David Cullen and Webber.

The Las Vegas company currently features Anthony Crivello (The Phantom of the Opera), Kristi Holden (Christine Daaé), Andrew Ragone (Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny), Kristen Hertzenberg (Christine Daaé Alternate), Elena Jeanne Batman (Carlotta Giudicelli), John Leslie Wolfe (Monsieur André), Lawson Skala (Monsieur Firmin), Tina Walsh (Madame Giry), Larry Wayne Morbitt, (Ubaldo Phangi), and Brianne Kelly Morgan (Meg Giry).
