The British National Theatre of America Announces 2009-2010 Season

The British National Theatre of America (BNTA) has announced the schedule for their 2009-2010 season, which will feature three performances at various venues.

The season will open with Jo Cattell’s Durty Nelly’s Lullaby, September 17-24 at McMullan’s Irish Bar. Set in a Northern Irish pub, the work tells the story of young love in a time of conflict using clowning, dance, break dancing, acrobatics, and acting. Jo Cattell and Richard Perkin’s adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves will take the stage at the Horn Theatre at CSN, November 17-25. Not the typical story of Snow White, this adaptation is set in Las Vegas, where Snow White is stage manager to her evil, but very famous stepmom, Posh Nosh. The season will close with A Night at the Dogs by Matt Charman, March 2-10, at the Backstage Theatre at CSN. In this black comedy, five men find themselves waiting for the arrival of a dog that they hope will change their fortunes.
