The evening, which is being produced by George Stevens Jr. and Michael Stevens, is being taped for PBS. It will be directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Rob Ashford.

Performers will include Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, along with Broadway stars Laura Osnes, Cheyenne Jackson, Sherie Rene Scott, Montego Glover, and Benjamin Walker, country greats Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Martina McBride, and Merle Haggard, Grammy Award winner Carole King, jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, and rhythm and blues singer Mavis Staples.
