Motherhood the Musical to Play Tampa’s Straz Center Beginning in June

Motherhood the Musical, by Sue Fabisch, will play Tampa’s David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, June 3-October 2. The four-member company will be directed and choreographed by Lisa Shriver with Johnny Rodgers supplying music direction & supervision, arrangements and orchestrations.

Motherhood the Musical features the top 10 billboard comedy hit “The Kids Are Finally Asleep”, the rousing “Costco Queen”, and the tender “I’m Danny’s Mom.”

The musical will also see productions in at least four other cities in the coming month, including Fort Worth, TX (Fort Worth Community Arts Center, August 14 – September 4); Richardson, TX (Charles W. Eisemann Center, September 8 – October 9); Atlanta, GA (14th Street Playhouse, September 18 – November 20); and Philadelphia, PA (Society hill Playhouse, September 30- Open Ended Run).

In addition, the 20-song original cast recording will soon be released on Fabisch’s Nashville-based record label Mommy Music.
