Caldwell Theatre Company will present I Dream of Cuba with Cuban storyteller Antonio Sacre on Monday, April 25 at 2pm and 7pm.
Storytelling is an ancient art. As with theater, every storytelling experience is different and provides a unique perspective on life through narratives from a wide variety of sources including the storyteller’s own experience.
Sacre is an internationally touring, award-winning storyteller, writer, and solo performance artist based in Los Angeles. He has been a featured storyteller at the Kennedy Center, the National Storytelling Festival, and hundreds of other venues worldwide, and his recordings have won numerous national awards. His contemporary take on life from his Cuban-Irish background is filled humor and intelligence.
