Ty Burrell, Renée Fleming, Montego Glover, Gavin Lee, Dick Van Dyke, et al. Set for America Celebrates July 4th at Ford’s Theatre

Kelly Clarkson, Renée Fleming, Montego Glover, Laura Michelle Kelly, Gavin Lee, George Lopez, Lionel Richie, Robin Roberts, and Dick Van Dyke will take part in America Celebrates July 4th at Ford’s Theatre to take place on Sunday, June 6.

Stage veteran and Modern Family star Ty Burrell will host the invitation-only event, which will be taped for broadcast on ABC on Friday, July 2 at 9pm.

In addition, there will be appearances by cast members of the Ford’s Theatre production of Little Shop of Horrors and The Soldiers’ Chorus of the United States Army Field Band. The evening also will include the presentation of the Ford’s Theatre Lincoln Medal to South African human rights activists Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu and Justice Albie Sachs, whose accomplishments exemplify the character and lasting legacy of President Abraham Lincoln.
