John Turturro, Alvin Epstein, Elaine Stritch, and Max Casella will make up the cast of Samuel Beckett's Endgame, to play BAM's Harvey Theater, April 25-May 18.

The production, which will open officially on April 30, will be directed by Andrei Belgrader. The one-act play, originally published in 1957, is considered to be one of Beckett's most important works.

Turturro has starred on Broadway in Life x 3 and appeared Off-Broadway in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Italian American Reconciliation, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, and Souls of Naples. Epstein starred in the original New York production of Beckett's Waiting for Godot, and has appeared in three prior Off-Broadway productions of Endgame. Stritch's many Broaday credits include her Tony Award-winning solo show At Liberty, A Delicate Balance, Show Boat, Company, and Sail Away. Casella's stage credits include The Lion King, The Music Man, and Souls of Naples; he is known for his work on the TV series Doogie Howser M.D. and The Sopranos.
