Craig Wright to Receive 2009 Horton Foote Award

Craig Wright will receive the 2009 Horton Foote Excellence in American Playwriting Award during the Horton Foote Festival held at Baylor University, November 5 -7. In addition to appearing at the opening ceremony to receive the Foote Award, Wright will be on hand throughout the Festival, participating in a post-show discussion about his play The Unseen and offering a master class in playwriting.

The Festival, which is open to the public, will also feature readings of Wright’s plays Grace and The Pavilion in addition to academic presentations on contemporary drama by Wright as well as authors such David Lindsay-Abaire, Tracy Letts, and Donald Margulies.
