Yale Repertory Theatre has announced productions for its 2011-2012 season.

The season will begin with Sarah Ruhl’s new version of Three Sisters (September 16-October 8), a co-production with Berkeley Repertory Theater. Les Waters will direct. Next up, Anne Kauffman will direct the world premiere of Amy Herzog’s Belleville (October 21-November 12). The play centers on a young American married couple in Paris whose lives are upended by surprising revelations.

Christopher Bayes will direct Moliere’s A Doctor in Spite of Himself (November 25-December 17) in a new adaptation that he co-wrote with Steven Epp. Liz Diamond will direct Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale (March 16-April 7). The season will close with the world premiere of Will Eno’s The Realistic Joneses (April 20-May 12), about two suburban couples with the same last names. Sam Gold will direct.

One additional play, to be presented February 3-25, is still to be announced.
