Full Cast Announced for Goodman's Christmas Carol

Full casting has been announced for the Goodman's 31st annual presentation of A Christmas Carol, adapted by Tom Creamer. William Brown will direct the production, which will run November 21-December 31, with an opening set for November 30.

Adapted from Charles Dickens' famous story, A Christmas Carol is the tale of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who is opposed to holiday cheer and indifferent to the sufferings of the poor in Victorian London. Scrooge is visited by four ghosts who offer him the opportunity to sympathize with his fellow man.

Larry Yando will return in the role of Scrooge, with the cast also featuring Monét Butler (Abby, Fred's Wife/Mrs. Dilber), Ryan Cowhey (Tiny Tim), Major Curda (Turkey Boy/ Ignorance), Tim Gittings (Topper/Poulterer), Lucy Godinez (Martha Cratchit), Steve Haggard (Ghost of Christmas Past/Undertaker), Caroline Heffernan (Emily Cratchit/Want), Matthew Heffernan (Peter Cratchit/Scrooge as a Boy), Katie Jeep (Catherine), Anish Jethmalani (Ghost of Jacob Marley), Ann Joseph (Miss Crumb), Laney Kraus-Taddeo (Belinda Cratchit/Fan), Brendan Marshall-Rashid (Ghost of Christmas Future/Scrooge as a Young Man/Tree Seller), William J. Norris (Mr. Ortle), Adam Poss (Dick Wilkins), Ron Rains (Bob Cratchit), Sharon Sachs (Mrs. Fezziwig/Philomena), Matt Schwader (Fred), Kevin Theis (Schoolmaster/ Percy/Old Joe), Bret Tuomi (Mr. Fezziwig/ Chestnut Seller), Penelope Walker (Ghost of Christmas Present), and Karen Woditsch (Mrs. Cratchit). Actor/musicians will include Justin Amolsch, (Horn/Mr. French), Gregory Hirte (Violin/Fiddle/Mr. Spinet), Bethany Jorgensen (Violin/Adelle) and Malcolm Ruhl (Accordian/Ruhl).

The creative team will include Todd Rosenthal (set), Robert Christen (lighting), Heidi Sue McMath (costumes), Cecil Averett (sound), Susan Hart (musical staging), and Andy Hansen (composer/musical director).
