Chicago Run of Freud’s Last Session to Present Post-Show Talkback Series

Freud’s Last Session, which is currently running at the Mercury Theater, has announced plans to present a post-show talkback series, May 11-20.

For the series, the production is inviting Chicago academics, atheists, and psychologists to discuss Love, Sex, the Meaning of Life and the Existence of God. Guests on May 11 at 8pm will include Dr. Jerry Root, renowned C.S. Lewis scholar and Associate Director of the Institute for Strategic Evangelism at the Billy Graham Center and Dr. Michael Mangis, Professor of Psychology and practicing clinical psychologist and with Heartland Counseling in Elburn, Illinois. On May 16 at 7:30pm, the talkback will feature Christian J. Brooks and Vincent Truman from the Chicago Freethought Project. On May 20 at 1 pm, Dr. Phil Lebovitz, Dr. Neal Spira, and Dr. Virginia Barry from the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis will take part in the discussion.
