Adrian Danzig, John Judd, Samuel Taylor Set for Chicago Shakespeare’s The Feast

Chicago Shakespeare Theater will present The Feast: an intimate Tempest, January 18-March 11. The work, which is a collaboration with Redmoon, is co-created and co-directed by Jessica Thebus and Frank Maugeri and was developed by Rick Boynton.


This innovative adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest features three actors a menagerie of handcrafted puppets.

The production will feature John Judd as Prospero with Adrian Danzig as Caliban and Samuel Taylor as Ariel.


The creative team includes Art Director/2D and Silhouette Puppet Designer Andrea Everman, 3D Puppet Designer Jesse Mooney-Bullock, Scenic Designer Neil Verplank, Light Designer Andrew Myers, Projection Designer Mike Tutaj, Composer/Sound Designer Jeff Thomas, and Costume Designer Sue Haas.
