The Goodman Theatre has announced complete casting for Thomas Bradshaw’s Mary, to run February 5-March 6. Mary Adrales will direct the production.

The absurdist comedy, which tackles political correctness and the changing nature of bigotry in America, takes place in 1983 and focuses on what happens when a college student invites his boyfriend home to his parents’ house in Virginia, where nothing has changed since the 1800s — including the slave quarters.

The company will feature Myra Lucretia Taylor in the title role, along with Barbara Garrick (Dolores Jennings), Scott Jaeck (James Jennings), Alex Weisman (David Jennings), Eddie Bennet (Jonathan), Cedric Young (Elroy), and Steve Pickering (Priest).
