Freud's Last Session has announced a final extension through November 11 at the Mercury Theater. Tyler Marchant directs.

Written by Mark St. Germain, the play focuses on psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud, who invites the rising academic star C. S. Lewis to his home in London, where the two clash on the existence of God, love, sex, and the meaning of life.

As previously announced, the production stars Mike Nussbaum and Coburn Goss.

In related news, the play will also feature a post-show talkback discussion with Dr. James Anderson and Dr. Eva Lichtenberg from the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis following the 1 pm performance on August 26.
