The Signal Ensemble Theatre has announced casting for its productions of John Guare’s Six Degrees of Separation, to play November 17-December 20, and Jay Presson Allen’s The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, to run April 13-May 16.

Guare’s play paints multiple sides on what drives and motivates us toward money, greed, fame, and lust when Paul, a young victim of a knife attack, seeks assistance at Ouisa Kittredge’s upper-class New York home. The cast will feature John Blick, Steven Camara, Tucker Curtis, Kevin D’Ambrosio, Bryson Engelen, Katie Genualdi, Susie Griffith, Eric Lindahl, Vincent Lonergan, Joseph Mack, Tim Martin, Nick Mikula, Simone Roos, Aaron Snook, Jon Steinhagen, Dan Taube, and Heather Townsend.

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie follows Miss Brodie, a teacher at the Marcia Blaine School for Girls, who dismisses the standard curriculum subjects as wide-ranging as Giotto to Hitler to her own romances, which finally catches up to her, even in her prime. The cast will star Patricia Austin as Jean Brodie, and also include Jessica Bennett, Cynthia Blakewell, Annie DiMaria, Brigitte Ditmars, Kasia Januszewski, Rachael Jenison, Erin Myers, Danielle O’Farrell, Simone Roos, Eric Smith, Aaron Snook, Joseph Stearns, and Angela Steffens.
